I'd have to say my favorite part of Mr. Gilmer's guest lecture was seeing firsthand the impact of social networking. I'm not a person that sees the inherent value or point even in have a Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram, Tout, etc. all at once, so it's nice to see tangible evidence of the practicality of their usage in business outside of just marketing.
That said, I still don't believe there is a need to have that many social networking accounts if you are just the average joe. In my mind, all you need is to pick one you like and stick with it.
